An accomplished performer, Sarah Tuan made her concerto debut at 10, and has enjoyed an international career captivating audiences in countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland, Austria, and Denmark, as well as in many esteemed venues including Alice Tully Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Warsaw Philharmonic Concert Hall. She has been featured on numerous radio stations including NPR's "From the Top" and Philadelphia WRTI 90.1.

Sarah has enjoyed considerable success and experience on the competition stage – competition highlights include participation in the XVIII Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland in October 2021, the Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition, the Philadelphia International Piano Competition, and the San Jose International Piano Competition. Recently, she was the recipient of the 2nd prize in the 2023 Mieczyslaw Munz Piano Scholarship Competition.

As an avid learner, Sarah has been invited to perform and participate in various music festivals internationally, such as the Frost Chopin Academy, Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Academy, the Philadelphia Young Pianists Academy and the International Summer Academy Mozarteum University.

Sarah has had the honor of playing for various celebrated musicians – most notably in April 2023, where she was selected to perform for Sir Andras Schiff in a masterclass at the Juilliard School. Additionally, Sarah collaborated with award-winning violinist Richard Lin in a concert for Artch Foundation Inc. in October 2022.

Aside from performance, Sarah is also passionate about arts management. In 2020, Sarah was appointed as Student Board Member for the Steinway Society of the Bay Area. Additionally, she provided assistance to The Cliburn in June 2023.

Sarah is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at the Juilliard School, and studies under the tutelage of Robert McDonald.
